The Clark County Water Reclamation District continues to be a leader in the field of wastewater treatment. The District has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout the years.

The Government Finance Officers Association Awards

GFOA Awards are designed to recognize and encourage excellence in financial reporting by state and local governments.

Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards pay tribute to agencies for excellence in budgeted financial reporting.

Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Awards honors agencies for excellence in actual financial reporting.

National Association of Clean Water Agencies Peak Performance Awards

NACWA's Peak Performance Awards program recognizes NACWA member agency facilities for excellence in wastewater treatment as measured by their compliance with their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits. There are three types of awards within the Peak Performance Awards program: Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

Platinum Award Winner

Platinum Awards pay special tribute to agency facilities that have received Gold Awards for five consecutive years.

FY 2004 and FY 2005
Gold Award Winner

Gold Awards honor treatment works that have achieved 100 percent compliance with their NPDES permit for an entire calendar year.

National Association of Clean Water Agencies Environmental Achievement Award for Public Information & Education

NACWA's National Environmental Achievement Awards Program annually recognizes individuals and member agencies that have made outstanding contributions to environmental protection and wastewater management.

Public Information & Education Awards honor agencies for their inventive efforts to educate the public on the effects of wastewater treatment and pollution control on the environment.

The 3CMA Savvy Awards Competition has a history of recognizing and honoring the most effective programs in local government.
