Clean Water : A Community Investment
The Clark County Water Reclamation District plays an important part
in the water cycle by collecting, treating, reclaiming and
returning millions of gallons of cleaned water back into the
Colorado River through Lake Mead.
Knowledge of the water cycle in Southern Nevada requires
an understanding of the entire water supply picture, including
the treatment and reclamation of wastewater.
By doing our job each day, the Clark County Water Reclamation District's
"Clean Water Team" helps to preserve a limited resource -water-
and protect the environment in the Las Vegas Wash, Lake Mead
and the Colorado River.
